Think what you want but at least they have a plan. If they hit in the draft this can turn around pretty quick. They didn't want to trade Minkah or Tunsil but the offers were too good to be true so it is what it is...
Wel u asked for proof u said it for me!

If everyone hits in the draft they will be good. The numbers don’t lie? The dolphins are gonna exceed all of them 50-53% of first rounds hit.

I mean the numbers don’t lie. If u uve 30 picks your not getting a ton of good players. A few, some serviceable starters, and junk. What makes you think dolphins, of all the great drafting teams, are gonna just smash the nfl draft.

Never said that every pick would be a super star but when you have that many picks over the next two years odds are they will hit on some you make it out to be zero. Sure could happen but I'll take my chances rather than be stuck at 7-9. First step is to find out if its Rosen or someone they draft hopefully one turns out to be a franchise QB. I actually like Rosen but they prefer to take their time with him although I'd get him in there now why bother wasting time with Fitz. By the way Rosen was moving the ball when he finally had a chance and the patsies knew it was pass pass pass either way he wasn't too bad. If it weren't for a couple of drops he had long TD passes. Arm looked good.

I'm definitely optimistic but you don't seeing me say that they are making the playoffs or winning the bowl. I've said multiple times that the oline is atrocious but you keep saying that Miami fans on here say otherwise which is BS. Don't be pointing fingers at us....and as per NW he's just a total idiot you should know that by now.
U asked for proof of anyone saying the line wasn’t atrocious, you provided it.

Cleveland and Detroit say hold our beer.

Good luck with that.
So it would have been better to keep deteriorating older vets and keep spinning their wheels? They didn't want to trade the younger guys but if they are quitters and want out or the offer is substantial that's the right move. It will be interesting to see how Minkah does in Pitt see if he complains about having to move around....

So to be a contender every starter has to be a super star got it....you may want to check some rosters there are a lot of fill ins on every team. The key is to have a good QB and the other obvious key areas. There is also a thing called FA which helps fill in the cracks.

It's what we like to refer to in the football world as balance and depth. So yes you needed to keep some of those players.

Many of us have pointed out that 50% of draftees don't stick. You let two top tackles and a hybrid DB go. Along with all the other holes Miami has.

I'll say it again. NO ONE is worried about the Dolphins immediate future.

Just to point out over 50% of FIRST rounders don’t stick. Overall the number is FAR less

They have kept some players Howard is one of the better CB's in football and signed long term. Rosen is still a very good QB prospect. James was overpaid for his worth at RT they can use that money on a better player. Tunsil was the tough one but they got paid heavily for him although you seem clueless to the fact. I won't keep going but they'll also find a few players after sifting through everyone.

You aren't making any sense they still have some decent prospects and a ton of picks and money. I've heard many analysts say that they like what they're doing so I"m going to take a patsies opinion and yours over theirs?

You aren't making any sense. With the amount of picks and cap they have they don't necessarily have to hit on every single one. Not every player drafted has to be a superstar. I know that you believe this but most rosters aren't stacked from top to bottom to win a bowl. We'll see in the next few years if they are competitive after this purge...

Howard is a penalty machine. He hurts them almost as much as he helps.

I like Rosen but he's a prospect only at this point. I hesitate to even call him average yet.

If you want an Oline you need to invest picks, $ and time. Miami has not planned for their future. Oline will be their achillies heel over the next couple seasons. Quality Tackles don't grow on trees.

Hoopsters laugh in your general direction. Keep posting.

Jesus. You don’t get it. Period most draft picks don’t make it, at all.

The Dolphins have selected eight players (Parker, Jordan Phillips, Tunsil, Xavien Howard, Harris, McMillan, Fitzpatrick, Gesicki) in the draft's first two rounds from 2015 to 2018. Only Tunsil, Howard and Fitzpatrick have proven to be worth those picks and Howard is the only one on the current roster.

History tells us there's some notable risk in betting the Dolphins will hit home run after home run -- not only at quarterback but in filling the numerous holes on the team -- with their new draft capital.

Why would you include "to win a bowl" in this conversation. Are you actually saying Mia is going to be a SB contender over the next couple seasons:pound:

Baby steps jr. baby steps how about winning a game this season first. Hell even be competitive in a game would be an improvement.

Think what you want but Howard is a quality CB. He shuts down most he faces lots of picks.
No one said the oline would be fixed next year of course it takes time but they will have a great start. like I said most analysts agree with the moves better than sitting at 7-9. Could backfire but if they hit at the right positions watch out.

Of course I get it but they have a shit load most teams have 7 correct they have more than double that. If you throw double the darts you have double the chances which you don't seem to get. Most of those picks came when Tannenbum was drafting we all know he's an idiot. We'll see what Grier and company do but whatever building through the draft doesn't work for you yet most good teams take that approach and mix in some FA. But what do I know....

Learn to read I said that most bowl winners aren't stacked with superstars at every position SP seems to think you need 53 stars to win anything. Simply not true. Anyway enough we'll see in the next few years but IMO it's completely possible to turn this around.

Ok so 30% chance .lets say 30 picks. 10 guys maybe. 1-3 good ones. Yep definitely makes a roster. Guess FA will bring in the other 30+

I haven't seen SP say that anywhere. What I'm seeing is your precption once again of what was said turned to try and support your weak arguement.
