"Multiple"?

LOL. Twice would be a better way to say that.

They won the Big 10 title outright in 2003.
They shared the Big 10 title with Iowa in 2004.

They lost both bowl games BTW.

They haven't won a conference title since then (14 years now).

They have not won an outright division title since divisions were created in 2011.
I love that you had a problem with saying two is multiple. WTF you want to call it, "singular". Nebraska has 0 BTW.

2001 season...... You have 1 b10 champ claim. The rest are 2 and 3 way ties lol. Nobody cares about a champ who didn't win a ccg lol

Illinois won the Big 10 outright in 2001.

Michigan went (8-4) and lost the Citrus Bowl (17-45) to Tennessee.

Two times would typically be called "twice".

Multiple would typically be three times or more.

"Multiple" does sound a lot more than "twice" though, and that's why you used that term.

You used that term as an exaggeration due to it being an 18 year span.

Shall we do a poll to see what people would typically call "two"?

Twice or Multiple.

If 'Twice' wins I get to pick your avy for a month. If 'Multiple' wins you get to pick my avy for a month.

Ready?

See, the thing is, I used multiple because I knew it was more than 1 but couldn't remember if it was 2 or 3. Which I think is a perfectly acceptable usage of "multiple". And your butt-hurtness about it is hilarious.

No, because I don't care. Even if more people would have used twice, it doesn't change that my usage was fine. This is a weird thing to be upset about.

Maize&Blew used the word "multiple" because it sounds better than "twice" in 18 years and zero in 14 years.

LMFAO!!!

They'll pick "twice" because it's the proper way to say 'two times', dipshit.

Michigan beat Iowa (head to head) in 2004, so they have a better claim to Big 10 champs IMO.

Michigan did lose to (you guessed it) Notre Dame, and (you guessed it) Ohio St, that season, and also lost in (you guessed it) their bowl game.

"How do you make Michigan cookies?"

"Put them in a big bowl and beat on 'em for 60 minutes"

A very average coach (Pelini) and a terrible coach (Riley).

Harbaugh is like Pelini in being 'very average', but without the outright division titles.

Harbaugh actually had more talent than both Pelini and Riley. Far more.

Yes, Michigan also plays in one of the toughest divisions in CFB, while Nebraska plays in arguably the worst P5 division in all of CFB.

And even though you play in such a weak division, it has been since 2012 since you last finished a season ranked in the top 25. So talking about ANY other school is beyond ridiculous for a Nebraska fan right now.

As I said — the only thing relevant about Nebraska is women’s volleyball. Congrats on that.

That is not an incorrect statement. Neither is multiple. Language allows various avenues for stating the same thing.

You are still going?!? When your school is now known as a women’s volleyball school — I’m not sure you should be talking trash about football with another school. Especially when last season, the women’s volleyball team probably would have faired better if they suited up and played UM.

The difference between Nebraska and Michigan fan is you don't see Nebraska fan referring to anything this century as "greatness".

In 7 seasons, Bo Pelini NEVER won less than 9 games and three of those were 10 win seasons. Pelini won outright division titles. He was never referred to as anything even close to great.

At this point Pelini >>> Harbaugh.
