We had some bad years. But we'd probably have had 3 or so appearances in the B10 title game if we were in Nebraska's division since the B10 joined divisions.

I wouldn't say that. Hell we were in the same division for a while and we went but ya'll never did. If anything, there is more evidence that if we stayed in the division together, we would have gone more than you.

That's when we were bad so it doesn't count, duh. But weirdly enough, Nebraska is in a terrible division now and has struggled to come close to winning it.

Terrible division, half of the contenders in the division have beaten Michigan recently (in the last 5 years). Funny enough too, Rutgers also beat you in the last 5 years.

Really though, you are in the "State" division as the only teams that ever seem to win it have "State" in their school name. Let me know when you make it to the CCG.

Not as close at all. As pointed out by my signature, Michigan has tied for the division title already. We lost the tiebreaker to OSU (with the same B10 record). Had we been in your crappy division, we would have been in the B10 title game multiple times already under Harbaugh. Then we could have lost to OSU twice in a season.

Psst... that means you lost the division. See if you had won it, then you would have played in the CCG. That's how that works.

Sharing a division title is better than not sharing a division title (like Nebraska).

You're right. In 2012 we did NOT share the division title. We won it OUTRIGHT.

But you are wrong in that you share a division title. You may have had the same conference record, but Ohio State beat EVERY SINGLE TEAM IN THEIR DIVISION. They lost to Purdue from the other division. Hence Ohio St WINNING the division. So again, this is "division title" we are talking about. Ohio St went undefeated in the division. Michigan did not.

There is no such thing as 'co-division champ'. Sorry if that bursts your bubble.

No such thing is a non-shared title in CFB. Even in the playoff era, anyone can just claim a national title when they think the system screwed them over. Anyone who thinks there are non-shared national titles just hasn't been paying attention. Even the one you're claiming Michigan won outright, was shared.

Sure there is. According to wiki, no one shared with Clemson last year. Or Alabama in 2015. Or Ohio St in 2014. Or FSU in 2013. There are many examples.

meeeechegan's last outright title was in 1948. And according to ncaa.com it wasn't shared. But for some bizarre reason it seems that you think that site's invalid.

Fun fact. The 1948 title is the ONLY title (according to wikipedia) that Michigan does not share.
