Nebraska and Iowa State are basically the same team, except ISU has done better lately.

Campbell has been at ISU for 3 seasons and Frost has been at NU for 1.

Both lost key WR and RB.
Both had a QB breakthrough
Both have a 4-game losing streak to Iowa

I think Iowa State and Nebraska should get an exhibition game or something, and whatever team between Iowa, Iowa State, and Nebraska does the worst receives this trophy that was presented as the trophy for the Iowa-Iowa State trophy at the State Fair. The idea lasted about a day.

Iowa 9-3
Nebraska 8-4
Iowa St 8-4

Nebraska and ISU are both still a year away from really being good teams imo. Iowa has 3 or 4 potential 1st round picks on this year's team so if they can get literally any production out of the skill guys on the outside and at TE they should be better for at least 1 more year . Purdy and Martinez are legit though

I'm going with Iowa. West is weak, Iowa is consistent, I expect Nebraska to still be bad (though has an easier schedule). I think Iowa wins 9/10 games, Nebraska wins 8 games and Iowa State wins 8 games.

Iowa state will crush Iowa this season, that HC is the real deal.

ISU failed to score a TD in 2 of the 3 games they played Iowa under Matt Campbell. Of course, they scored 5 TDs in the one game they scored a TD.

Northern Iowa.
And Kirk Ferentz will get a contract extension and $500,000 bonus for 9 wins. Especially since he only needs 8 for that bonus.

You guys don’t pay much, do ya?
12. Scott Frost, Nebraska

2019 salary: $5 million

One undefeated season at UCF helped net Frost a seven-year, $35 million contract at his alma mater, but his first year coaching at Nebraska wasn’t pretty. He won only four games — a huge departure from the “national championship” success he had in Orlando. Still, he has some time to get it right with his recruits.

1.25 million per win!!!!

He’s gonna be taking the #1 spot soon.
