How is Notre Dame going to recover losing their starting QB to UCF after an undefeated season? Luckily they return their starting QB to level the ship. Michigan lost their starting QB to the transfer portal, I don’t know how they will recover.

My "lottery" number was 342. With 365 being the best number, I was happy with mine. If I remember, I believe the draft for my year was about twp months away.
IIRC, mine was #316. My best friend was #8.

Just because someone starts a single game because of injury or the actual starter was worrying about draft position doesn’t make someone a starter. I was making a point with stating that Brandon Peters started a few games didn’t mean he was “a starter”. I thought that by stating that Notre Dame lost their starting QB they were in trouble but thankfully they are returning their starting QB it would have been obvious. So, do you think that every team has the same motivation in a game? Even a NY 6 Game can be more important to one side than the other. Two teams can land in the same spot from different places and the game can be more important for one side or the other. Emotion is just as important as skill, talent and coaching in winning football games. That is the same in the SEC, B1G or MWC.
