Well, I do like Upchurch... the rest was more of a test than a troll. I've not seen a rap thread here, so I expected to get some 'real rap' videos because I'm tired of about everything. Music in general is not good these days.
Tool, Slipknot and a few others still have my interest in the rock genre, but rap, mainly the mumble stuff
is killing me. I may not like some stuff you do, but I won't trash it... not my style.

Tool is overrated af too. Opiate is their best release, IMO.

You're not the first I've seen or heard say Tool is overrated. Why do you think that? It's what many consider the only 'good prog band' going (I disagree... see Porcupine Tree). I wasn't a fan of 10,000 Days, but up to Lateralus... damn. The lyrics have a lot to do with it for me as well.
As for the systematic, I agree. I have to search for diversity in there, and it's not easy.

FWIW, I've been called a "metal elitist", whatever that is? I get where you're coming from, Pete. Many of them do use someone else's track and rap over it. Even Upchurch, but he doesn't do the same type of 'rap' with it. He's a damned hillbilly, lol! I didn't even know he rapped for the longest time. I used to watch his vines and FB 'comedy' videos. Then I heard Elton John mention the guy and had to listen. He's good, but he'll eventually get old to me as well.
I need 'new' (to me) music suggestions, folks...

Yea I didn't have much background on the Adam Calhoun dude until this thread. It does seem a little off

Opiate sounds like it was recorded in a tin can under my sink. Love the tunes on it though. Aenima is still the standard for me from them.
