The heavyweight division is an absolute joke. It has been for far too long. Boxing should be ashamed that this happens. But, boxing doesn't care enough to put great fights together. Wilder / Joshua should have happened and now it loses its shine. Fuck boxing promoters.

This is why I prefer UFC. They always put on the fights fans want to see.

A UK Heavyweight and being overhyped. Name a more iconic duo. With that said, HW boxing is a mess. Please bring Errol Spence vs Terrence Crawford and GGG vs Canelo 3(Minus that bitch ref)

It seems you could never go broke betting against UK fighters when they come to America and fight real contenders huh. They are always overrated.

Same way all the great names lost fights, put a punching bag in the ring that expected to lose.

First Mexican heavyweight champ, should hold the belts til the next fight.

The fact a guy like Ruiz can be the champ is a sign the sport is done. Fatty titty tattoos being the baddest man in the world? No thanks.

good news is Wilder is fighting everyone. Not ducking like Joshua was.
I am looking forward to a rematch with Wilder & King Kong! they lay it all out there.

Who was Joshua ducking?

King Kong TURNED down this same fight with Joshua that Ruiz took

Joshua was avoiding Wilder

Wilder rejected 100 million from DAZN which would have pretty much locked us in for Wilder/Joshua by early next year at the latest.

Also rejected 40 million to fight Joshua..

Who is avoiding who now?

Wilder rejected all of the offers below.

Once again, who is avoiding who now?

"Eight months ago they [Joshua’s team] offered $10 million, then they offered $15 million, then they offered $20 million. Now they came back with $40 million. Deontay is only getting bigger so you can imagine what it’s going to be when they do fight," Finkel said.

to be honest. I was unaware of the 40 mil. My question is though what is the total to gain for the fight (before he lost)
I wish they would go back to the winners winning 60% or whatever of the purse loser 40%.
All this I am the A side B side crap really has ruined boxing.

I totally agree.

Money% shouldn't be determined prior to the fight especially with 2 big names. Winner get the higher%. Simple

One of the reasons we missed out on Pacman/Floyd while both were in their prime is because of money breakdown in addition to Floyd ridiculous complains about Manny being a cheater
