Names change, it's been that way for decades for Pittsburgh.
Guys like Wallace, Holmes, Clark....all just footnotes in Steeler folklore.
They left, and begged to come back. Just as these two will never see the glory, the game, or the treatment they got in Pittsburgh. They may never admit they want to come back, but bet your ass, they will never have it as good as they did in the Burg.

Reports are that the pats offered a 2nd and a 4th for Brown but the Steelers turned it down instead taking less from the Raiders. IF those reports are true did the Steelers make the right move by turning down the Pats and taking less from the Raiders?

IMO the Patriots trade was made up by Brown's shitty agent......
There is very little confirming anyone from Pittsburgh even talked to the Patriots....
Belichick would of shit canned him within weeks, and I don't see Brady putting up with his bullshit either. He would of been more of a problem than a solution for the Patriots..... I don't know.
As for what we got out of the deal, a third, a fifth, and piece of mind......
We'll have to see how Johnson and Gentry play out, I think they will both be solid over time, but the biggest thing was the piece of mind. Not having some ass clown on the team anymore. In the locker room, on the field, on social media, and only the team knows how many interceptions could of been avoided because of Brown being a twat.
Time will tell on it, but getting rid of him for piece of mind was probably the best pick up we got right now.

IIRC, the Raiders were the first team that Colbert called after the Bills trade fell through. Definitely made it sound like he settled for what he thought was the best offer.
