I cannot fathom a scenario where the NBA would rig a team from a major American market losing to one from a place that doesn't register on the national TV radar. That's as logical as rigging the draft lottery to send a second potential superstar to the same small market in 8 years after they did jack shit with the first one.

Ok just to run basic physics guys both the basketball and the rim would need magnets....the rim may be metallic enough for just the ball to have magnets but even the slightest addition of weight could throw a shooter if we are acting as if they switched a magnetic ball in or something.
