My wife loves everything she watches, and even she is like, this freaking sucks.

Dragon can't see through fog or affect the night king two weeks ago. Last week Dragon gets punked by a big crossbow on each of 12 ships. (yes I went back and counted, there was 12 ships with Eurons fleet)

This week dragon personally destroys a larger fleet all with the same scorpions, oh and destroys all of the scorpions lining every inch of the miles of city walls. Plus destroys all the walls they're sitting on. Burns down the entire city and everyone inside, except for Arya and a single horse. (And probably more Dothraki and Unsullied will be left in next episode than there was at the start of the battle of Winterfell a couple weeks ago.) Dragon also burned down a stone fortress.

Somebody got a level up a I guess. Looks like they spent most of their xp on their fire breath, but also put some points into flight and dodging arrows.

Tyrion selling out Varys didn't feel in character at all. Maybe if he was 100% drinking the koolaid, but it seemed even less in character to sell out Varys and then release Jaime.

Probably more in character than the Unsullied losing all discipline and going berserk.

Which still felt more in character than the Northmen getting blood thirsty an wanting to r*pe/pillage/murder/destroy after what they just saw last week. Speaking of just last week, why did they take the ships and dragons south into an ambush last week, if they could superspeed march all the rest of the soldiers down like 2 days later?

None of the shit they do makes any sense. I guess it looks cool to see a dragon flying around burning everything. But this just feels more like Godzilla than Game of Thrones.

The segments following Arya and Jon the streets when everything is falling apart around them are just outstanding.

This was an impactful episode... Sad to see Dany go fully mad, but she's always had tyrannical tendencies. If only Jon had boned her one last time, all of this would have been avoided.

"Dragon has leveled up!"
*pumps points into vitality and dexterity*
"Dragon has gained a skill point!"
*spends skill point on Fuel Lines - your dragon does not spend any mana on dragon fire and recharges the cooldown in 10 seconds!*
"Dragon has gained a talent attribute!"
*Ballista are now 50% less effective against your dragon and have a 25% chance to miss, but your rider has PMS and may randomly shoot fire at things*

So who died this week, besides everyone?

Varys
Sandor and Gregor
Euron Sparrow
Jaimie and Cersei

Do you think that Danny will attack the North next week, after Sansa's betrayal (in any case, Sansa betrayed Jon)?

Where did all those Dothraki come from?

It was a throwaway bit of dialogue last week but in one of the planning scenes, they mentioned the Battle of Winterfell cost them half of the Unsullied and roughly the same amount of Dothraki. You then see Greyworm remove half the Unsullied chips from the table and a Dothraki does the same with their chips. Not every Dothraki was in that charge against the Wights apparently. So ever how many Unsullied and Dothraki Dany started out with, she had exactly half that for King's Landing. Pretty convenient and lazy number you gotta admit, but they at least addressed it. Sorta.

After having some time to process it, I'm pretty upset with how the Cersei story ended. I didn't really care about the prophecy or if Arya killed her or not but the way she went out was really lame. She was such a compelling character and villain but gets such an anticlimatic death. I think a lot of critics go overkill on bashing D&D for lazy writing, but this really was an example of lazy writing. How in any way was what happened to Cersei satisfying? She just stood there the entire time! Then she died. Like WTF! Literally any other idea would have been better

Tyrion is proving to be one of the worst judges of character of all time.

Lazy story writing has been the name of the Game (of Thrones) in season 8.

Yeah, and there was no scene where Euron confronts her on whether he's the real baby daddy or not. WTF!

The pregnancy isn't addressed at all I don't think. Like we never even know if it was real or she was faking it like some had theorized. I assume it was real and Jaime's but its just another thing to add on to why Cersei needed more to go out on.

And no way Jaime defeats Euron one on one. Euron had been pretty much superhuman in combat up to this point. And now he gets killed by a cripple?

I dunno, but I think the producers sort of intended that. The fact she didn't bow and basically killed THOUSANDS of people, and then dies with no judgment day... kind of a giant middle finger to Dany's legacy.. she drove Dany to insanity/madness. I gotta admit... it was a glorious middle finger to everyone rooting for Cersei to die some horrible death or get her comeuppance. And for that I gotta say I love it, lol.

By her not surrendering and sacrificing all those innocent lives, she basically killed Dany - majority of the heroes will not follow Dany after this and Arya will probably kill her. I mean what did everyone expect? Cersei running out and being captured with another 'walk of shame' or 'dracaris' bullshit would've been boring as fuck.

Eh, I'm not sure I buy that. She herself technically didn't bend the knee and surrender but her forces did. That was the purpose of the bells and Dany just ignored it. So its not like Cersei drove Dany to do that by not surrendering.
