There's a guy I subscribe to on YouTube, and he pretty much gives the Treatment to any team in any sport that has had their share of struggles over the years...or if it's the current roster sucking, he'll give them the business, too.

Not too long ago, guess who got their turn to be ripped a new one...

omg, I heard that "I'm Your Captain" song not too long ago...

With every "I'm Getting Closer..." I kept thinking like they couldn't take a step without it being acknowledged.

Welp... certain organizations' legacy is success.

I mean, we're still talking about '95 and '01.

True ... 95 we had a potential dynasty staring us in the face, M's ownership made sure that didn't happen, Tino, Nelson, Sojo to the Yankees sealed that fate... 2001 we just needed another bat, M's do nothing before the deadline, Lou lobbied managment for another bat, they didn't listen, even sports illustrated said the M's will regret making no move... We fall short... NOW 18 years later and no post season, we still have hope, because were Mariners fans, they can't suck forever, can they ? Well maybe they can ....

I"m at peace with that also... I always have a glimmer of hope at times, like they could get lucky and find the right chemistry one year... but I definitely don't lose any sleep over it...

Being raised in a one sport town has its disadvantages.
