Well this certainly fuels the speculation that Manusky might be gone soon. Honestly don't know why they are taking so long to mull this over. In spite of Bowles going elsewhere this should be considered good news.

The brain trust for the Skins are probably like some folks on this board & believe that ALL of the Skins current issues are due to injuries & absolutely nothing else. They will use that mindset to con themselves into thinking that they will be SB contenders next season. Argh....

Bowles is a perfect example of a DC who was a great DC but not as a HC.

He'll have a job within a few days of being fired.

Exactly...Arians I'm sure told him I've got you covered if this TB gig comes my way, and that's what happened...Bowles is the new DC in Tampa.

Maybe we get Marvin Lewis
I would certainly be ok with that. DC and Assistant HC, Marvin Lewis. Callahan sounds all but gone. Perhaps we can bring in Russ Grimm to be our OL coach and Run game coordinator? Isn't his Son our current OLB coach?

Does anyone else find it unprofessional that they are talking to potential coaches when there are no actual vacancies at this time? What ever you think of Manusky, he deserves better than that. OF course, this is Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen.

Everyone seems to think Wilkes might be a candidate. Norman had his best years under him in Carolina. Craig Hoffman brought him up on the junkies as well as Casserly.

Norman is most effective playing zone. With a good pass rush I think the Skins could play more zone than they currently do. As with anything you have to mix things up. I think we could be more successful in zone with Rueben and SDH.

"They" treat everyone like shit. It's ALL about the money dad!!!
I disagree. He will have plenty of interest. He doesn’t need to come here. Since he was treated poorly by Snyder, I agree with Dad, more money isn’t going to cut it. Plus, I’m sure Snyder doesn’t want him here. Williams isn’t the type of guy that will cowtow to Snyder. No, Williams isn’t coming here.

Can't see him coming here either. He was thought to be the coach in waiting after Gibbs and Dan had one of his hissy fits about something. I wanted him to follow Gibbs.

While I completely agree that he won't come here, I won't have any problems convincing myself that if there's a silver lining pathway that gets him here, maybe the condition involves Bruce Allen's complete departure. Shit ton of money too!:hope:

Unfortunately, the rift between Williams and the franchise has nothing to do with Bruce. This happened before his time here. But I like the thinking.

Neither Tomsula or Callahan have impressed me much.

Well he won’t come back to Dallas but Callahan is welcome back in Dallas any time.
One of the best OL coach’s in the NFL
Trust me if the Redskins get rid of him he won’t be out of work long
IMHO[/QUOTE]
Callahan is a Hell of a coach. The Cowboys OLine play dropped off considerably the year after he left Dallas

I agree, but let's not convince ourselves that the rest of the league isn't paying attention to the shenanigans that goes on here in D.C. Bruce has been the linchpin for Snyder's BS, for a guy like Williams, dealing with Snyder could be tolerable, but to have to deal with both of them, nope!
