I like Gregg and Richard. Gregg should have gotten the job after Gibbs. But Dan was butthurt because he found out Gregg was making fun of Gibbs' offense behind Gibbs's back and held it against him. Dan loves Joe.

I'd be ok with Jay if he found himself a QB that could run his offense and allowed the new GM (hopefully) to pick the new DC. Maybe a Todd Bowles, Richard. I don't think there is anyway Gregg comes here unless it's to be the HC.

If Mike Tomlin some how became available that would be my 1st choice

If Mike Tomlin became available it would be a shock heard around the NFL world!!
Since 1969 the Steelers had exactly 3 head coaches, Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and their current guy Mike Tomlin. Firing Tomlin would completely break precedent. It is important to note that neither Noll or Cowher were fired, both retired/rresigned retired. Talk about job security!!

Your intention sounds good, but this type of setup just has dysfunction written all over it & would be a typical Snyder/Redskins move. If Gruden is retained he needs to have major input into any coaching decisions. Otherwise if/when things go wrong say on the defensive you will again have a disjointed team & a lot of finger pointing (which admittedly will exist to an extent anyhow).

Barring a late season turnaround my vote would be to dump Gruden since he has major coaching issues that go well beyond injury concerns. However if he is retained he really needs to have his guys on the coaching staff & not some guys handpicked by Snyder & the GM who may be out of sync w/ Gruden.

I believe that both Allen and gruden go. Or neither will . And I doubt Allen shows up in Oakland

I hear you. Those Raiders rumors make me laugh. Sure maybe Allen did something good w/ that team many, many years ago. However do folks really believe that they want to bring someone in who is in charge of one of the most dysfunctional teams in the NFL that have not really had any success in a very long time?
