Need Advice - Getting ready to sell my SUV.

This is only the 2nd car I've ever sold. My last was sold "as is" and I did pretty well on it. My question is what should I get repaired before putting up for sale?

Windshield cracked - Must fix
Head lights short in and out - Must fix
Tie Rods are starting to show wear but not too bad $250 - $300 w/alignment - Fix or No Fix?
AC compressor starting to go - $350 -$400 - Fix or No Fix?

Probably gonna pay to have inside detailed - $100

Vehicle Detail: 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD
Mileage: 130,000
Condition: Exterior is in great shape
Interior: Needs a good cleaning

Going to ask $4,000.

130K is not a bad amount in todays market.

Fix the windshield and the short. Clean the inside out really good and put it up for 4k. My guess is you will have an offer of 3750 or so quickly. 4 WD clean used cars sell pretty fast.

Maybe some used tires to look good if your tires are worn.

But I would not sink more into it than you have to.

I just purchased new tires the previous winter so they're basically new.

I always polish the windows when I sell. The entire car seems newer and cleaner when looking through spotless windows...and it's easy.

And, the inside has to smell good. And wash the engine compartment for when the dummy looks in thar.

If you trade it in, the dealer won't give you anything anyway.
They may show you some money for it, but they won't have much in it, so fuck em, and let them fix that shit. The can do it for a fraction of the cost that you can.
