Would you watch an NFL game with an all female broadcast team?

But that shouldn't matter.......

I remember Hank explaining this to Bobby in that very special episode of King of the Hill:

"It's called the double-standard, Bobby...and don't knock it, we've got the better end of the deal..."

I only watch football at the pub with the sound off anyway so I wouldn't notice the difference.

It will he happening this Thursday for whoever uses Amazon Prime

Kremer, Storm to be first all-female NFL broadcast duo

Thursday Night Football moves to Amazon Prime Video for 11 games beginning this week, and with it comes a groundbreaking new option for viewers.

Sports broadcasting pioneers Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storm will provide commentary and analysis for Amazon's live streaming coverage of TNF, forming the first-ever all-female duo to broadcast an NFL game. The new pairing was announced Tuesday via press release.

I'll listen to anyone as long as they have knowledge of the game and can provide good analysis. Only people that wouldn't are sexist pigs.

Always liked them both. Can't imagine them being worse than some of the guys they put on.

No issue if they are not annoying as hell like that Beth chick was on ESPN.

It does make me wonder why networks hire former players to do it if a woman can.

Wha? You mean you don't like hearing nearly brain-dead former players mumbling through their color commentary with endless stories of how they woulda done it differently?

75% of the living HOF is employed on TV so they still want a salary and benefits from the Hall of fame?

Does this mean that the games are only on Amazon Prime, or also available on Amazon Prime?

Taking games off free TV and moving them to restricted services is another way for the NFL to lose viewers and fans.

i'm usually at watch parties or bars so I'm rarely listening to them anyway

if i'm watching at home, i don't really pay much attention to the broadcasters anyway so it doesn't matter to me

I'm one of these weird guys that doesn't mind hearing the action before seeing it, so I prefer the radio broadcast which is normally a few seconds ahead of the TV feed.

But to answer the question, yes I would watch...if it gets bad, I just turn it down, and turn music on.

I always thought they used former players because the inside knowledge they brought from having played it was valuable.
This team goes against that.

Will they only speak during commercials? Will it have anything to do with football or are they going to just talk about who is dating which women and shit?

I've learned to block out the female voice during games. At this point it is a learned behavior.

From an NFL standpoint, this is just replacing the Yahoo deal with a bigger one from Amazon. Streaming imo is the future of the NFL so dipping your toe in the water is probably not a bad thing. When Directv's Sunday Ticket contract is up in I believe 2020, we may see an expansion of out of market games on an individual or team basis like the NBA has.
