I don't think anyone from any team likes this modern take on protecting players. It's garbage. But it isn't going away anytime soon.

I'm fine with a penalty on that hit, but not ejection, nor should the other one have lead to an ejection.

There are always cases of obvious intentional or careless hits that should be penalized and players ejected, but maybe like 20% of the ones called?

Thank you. And as I’m reading this Hamden just called a wildcat on the 5 yd line. Hamden calls in the red zone have been really suspect so far this year. He’s bringing some nice looking plays to the offense, but he’s calling weird stuff in the red zone that’s not working.
