Can someone tell me what the use is if all the popular cable shows aren't there? The League, breaking bad, Dr Who, Archer. Went and searched for those in that order and nothing.
You spelled Netflix wrong
I have Hulu live and it's just like Sling but you also get Hulu produced shows. You will get local NBC and FOX but will NOT get local live ABC and CBS. However you can get a small antenna at Best Buy for about $35.Anyone have this app? I currently have Sling Orange + Blue and Hulu Basic. I see Hulu now offers Live Streaming which claims to offer CBS, NBC, ABC and Fox the stations which carry NFL Games. I understand there mat be local black outs but other than that do you get NFL games? I am considering dumping Sling for HULU Live.
Also there is something called NFL Game Pass for $99.00 which claims I can stream live games less local game which would be blacked out for $99.00. Anyone using this? Any luck with it?
Thanks

Can you only watch live, or can you record, or on-demand the shows?
Agree. I hated how they didn’t have a menu and live stuff was just blended in with everything else, but got used to it after a while.I have Hulu live and it's just like Sling but you also get Hulu produced shows. If you are paying for Hulu basic you probably will save a few bucks going with Hulu live and dropping Sling. I do like Sling's TV menu for live TV better.
You should be able to get a free trial so do that and see what you think.
I just enrolled, decided to give it a shot this year since Sling would often crap out during live sports. I agree with earlier comment, the interface for Hulu isn't as good as Sling. We'll see how it goes starting tomorrow with live games.
Also chose it because you get Fox, they have the Panthers games in my market.
They have a separate live menu now. My issue is you can't see more than the show you are on and what is coming up right after. If you are looking at the menu at 7:00 you can't scroll over and see what comes on at 11:00.Agree. Also the free trial part, all the streaming services offer one, no reason not to just try them all and pick the one that fits you best.
Yeah, I would have to restart the stream to get it running again, pissed me off. Another option I was considering was youtube TV, but read some articles about similar problem, decided to roll with Hulu first.I found it way more reliable than Sling. I don’t think any of them are perfect yet, just the nature of streaming, but sling was by far the worst. And they always had the Fox Sports weekday college games blacked out for some reason.
Wow deal killer. And they always had the Fox Sports weekday college games blacked out for some reason.
Right direction at least. They have a separate live menu now. My issue is you can't see more than the show you are on and what is coming up right after. If you are looking at the menu at 7:00 you can't scroll over and see what comes on at 11:00.
You also can't switch screens with the Fire stick which sucks.
Ok thanks for the heads up on that as this will be my first football season. Good thing I don't post during Auburn games! You guys are just going to have to get used to seeing my snarky remarks on the game threads in delayed time.Tried them all, Hulu Live is by far the best.
I've been streaming for many years now, been using Hulu Live for the past year. YouTube looks ok as far as live TV, and if you need more than 2 streams at a time, but Hulu Live has the on demand type shit where you can get old episodes of TV shows and binge watch them, so I immediately canceled YouTube TV after starting the trial and only seeing live TV + DVR options.
The only downside as far as sports: There is a longer delay off live, so if you post on a forum during games, people on cable will be posting shit before you see it happen by a few seconds.
