With ACL injuries the fibers need time to bind together and strengthen around the knee. I wouldn't put him in at all, but he wanted to show he was ready from a football standpoint and he did that. The more time, the more healed he will be.

If he had tweaked something he'd be in getting treatment. He wouldn't still be out there on the field like he is.

Just have to protect him from himself at this point. He's about to dominate the league for 15 years. No need to rush him for just a couple extra games.
