Problem is that the owners can't save themselves from each other.

But, in fairness, put yourself in Boogie's shoes for a second. There were 3 teams with cap space that supposedly had interest in Cousins. The Mavericks chose DJ over Boogie. NO chose Randle. The Lakers chose KCP, Lance and Rondo.

So, Boogie thinking, "what, nobody wants me?" Fuck all y'all. I'm going to the Warriors."

It sucks for competitive balance, but kind of a savage move by the player who get screwed over big time by every team he wanted to go to.
