I think Cleveland has the hardest draft... those first 2 picks it is so hard to pass on Barkley... but I think they have to...
Not even close. The hardest drafts are definitely the ones where people lack draft capital.

The Rams had easily the hardest but there are about 5 teams that Id say had no shot at this at all just because they lacked the ammo.

Wasn’t talking about for judging the mock. Was talking about how to draft for them. Can you really pass on Barkley at 4?? Very hard to do. But they should do it, IMO

I don’t think having less picks makes it harder to draft. But it certainly makes it harder for us to judge it.

I still think its harder to judge people that have bad draft picks.

After the top 50 or so guys, the draft grades are all over the place. Its hard to have a serious conversation about players when some people see the guy you drafted in rd4 as a 6-7th round and some see him as a 3rd-4th rounder.

I also like the Barkley at 4. Its Darnold at 1 thats more debatable, imo. I like Mayfield and Rosen more but I don't really penalize the Browns too much for picking Darnold who should also go top 5.

This. One guy could be using CBS, another NFLn, and yet another ESPN. There were many inconsistencies from site to site and a lot of it just comes down to preference.

But as a first timer I must say the process and exercise of the mock draft was a blast. I learned a lot about numerous prospects and now I am excited for the later rounds in this draft to see if my teams like the same guys.

I definitely agree that there are so many different rankings of players... that's why when I judge I judge positions taken not players taken... at least for the first 4-5 rounds... the 6-7 round is all about upside IMO... I don't care if a player you can draft in the 6th or 7th might have gone in the 4th or 5th, if they are seen to have an upside of a backup player, then I don't want them... I will take the projects who have the raw skillz to be much better...

For example look at Marquez Valdez-Scantling- the WR I took with my last pick... he is 6'5 and ran a 4.37 40... that size and speed can not be taught... everything else can...

There's a fudge factor for most players outside of the top 20 or so I think. For that very reason in bold...we used a consortium approach with several big boards and kinda formed our own using an average.

QBs...I'm know I'm probably the last guy to take a hard line on any of these guys really...just don't see them play enough and I think that's a lot of us. In the little that I've seen of Mayfield, I'm not impressed, but what the hell do I know...he might be the next Drew Brees.

Yeah, I'm not about to take any hard lines on any of the QBs because every year there is at least 1 that surprises me one way or the other. I generally like this class and I think the Jets and Bills moving up to 3 (and trying to move up to 2) suggests that there are at least 3 good QB prospects.
