More like the B1G signed the biggest TV contracts combined with FOX, CBS and ESPN. That conference is filthy rich.So tom Herman took over and the value dropped. got it.

This is what would have happened if Scott would have brought in the two Okies schools: The Big 12 would have crashed and died. Bevo would have most likely cut a deal with the PAC in regards to the LHN. That in turn would mean the two Okie schools plus Bevo and TT. The powers that be in TV land would have been sucking PAC c0ck in order to cut a TV deal not to mention the recruiting it would have openend up for the PAC in the state of Texas.
It would have looked something like this:
PAC-16
PAC West
Washington
Washington St.
Oregon
Oregon St.
Cal
Stanford
UCLA
USC
PAC East
Arizona
Arizona St.
Utah
Colorado
Oklahoma
Oklahoma St.
Texas Tech
Texas
Utah was already a member of the PAC when the deal was going down with OU and Okie Light. Take away the two Okie schools and there would be no Big 12.If the Pac had managed to pull off a raid of the B-12, I'm not sure Utah would still have gained membership. The Pac had already gotten Colorado on board & were trying to get 3 Texas teams & the two Okies to jump. Utah was their 7th choice after they were snubbed by the other 5 teams.

The PAC is limited on regional schools it can add to the conference ... as in teams west of the Rockies. From here on out it's Big 12 teams or nothing.Utah was still the 7th choice. The Pac tried to nab 4 Big 12 teams, but only got one. Then they added Utah. I didn't know they made another run at the Homies afterward.
(Corrected post)Utah was still the 7th choice. The Pac tried to nab 6 Big 12 teams, but only got one. Then they added Utah. I didn't know they made another run at the Homies afterward.
It may be nothing, then; unless they reconsider BYU, or one or two MWC teams. The PAC is limited on regional schools it can add to the conference ... as in teams west of the Rockies. From here on out it's Big 12 teams or nothing.

The PAC will never take a religious school. They blew their chance back in '11 when they could have busted up the Big 12 by adding the two Okie schools and afterwards tried to negotiate with Texas on the LHN. Larry Scott (PAC 12 commish) is the worst of the worst. It may be nothing, then; unless they reconsider BYU, or one or two MWC teams.
Juco OL Corey Luciano - Diablo Valley College has committed to Washington. Will have 2 years to play in 3 year eligible window starting in 2019.
Offers included Maryland, Syracuse, Nebraska, Minnesota, and USC.
Versatile player whose played T, G and C positions. Will probably end up at G/C down the road.
He should have been fired years ago but instead he just keeps getting raises.Ya'll need to hire a commish that thinks like a major college administrator, instead of a mid-major mindset.
Texas football is worth more money than any other college program. It's eat or be eaten. Had the PAC added the two Okie schools, Texas and Texas Tech we wouldn't have to worry about trying to find someone with the PAC Network just to watch a fvkng football game.
Texas not only is a AAU member as in they're rated up there in academics, not only do they have the #2 most profitable football program in the country, they would bring in a shitload of TV sets ... not only from Texas, but they are national brand as well. Add to the fact Texas recruiting is right up there with California and Florida it would be a no brainer to bring them into the conference.Texas football is King, but the only real positive towards the PAC 12 network they bring is the ability to air local HS games. Adding Texas and Co wouldn't make the schools make as much money as the B1G or SEC. Scott and our Presidents don't have any balls and are happy to take MWC timeslots instead of trying to negotiate up against shitty B1G, SEC or ACC games. We are spoon fed fed national exposure line yet Lamar Jackson was seen by more national fans than McCaffery, Darnold, Love or any other Pac12 Heisman hopeful. We have a shitty negotiator and Presidents who care more about Olympic sports and Title IX.
