it's probably between Trae Young and Marvin Bagley III for the Naismith at this point. Both have been sensational.

I have a VERY strong suspicion that the committee will set up a sweet sixteen or elite eight matchup between Duke and Oklahoma in hopes of seeing those two on the same court.

Young is really good and I think he did the right thing going to OU. He gets to see what it's like getting all the attention of the defense and a year with Lon Kruger is invaluable. I've heard people say he needs another year of college but I disagree. By the end of the season he will be ready to go to the NBA.

And he did it without taking 35+ shots which to me is encouraging. Still would like to see under 5 turnovers a game but I guess you can live with that when he's dropping 44 with 9 dimes. Kid is very special
