On the out of town scoreboard, the Coyotes scored two goals on their first two shots tonight against Edmonton.

Best comment I've seen on the subject "Motherfucker! What you think we been trying to do?"

So I read the article, and my thread title might have been prophetic. The word is that his reasoning is he wants to go somewhere he can showcase himself to get a contract in UFA thsi summer. He understands he has a 5-6 role here and that's not gonna land him a long term deal. He is "out of debt" this year, so he wants a good contract to set him up for life after hockey.

The article also said that they almost gave him a five year deal this summer when it looked like Murray was gonna be traded for Duchene.

Ouch.

Should have dealt him when he had value last year

Yeah, for sure. But they apparently were trying to move Murray.

Hurts twice as much when you consider that we made a deal with Las Vegas for them to take Karlsson so they wouldn't take Johnson.

If JJ was in Vegas, he'd be looking at a solid deal in UFA this summer. He might be their captain. And we really need Wild Bill's versatility right now. What could have been...

A Russian goalie known for being very good making half-assed attempts to save?

Nothing fishy there I'm sure :spy:

The stick broke mid shot, and looked like Bob was expecting a rising shot.
