Well Green Bay should be very cautious with "buyer beware" cause it's not like the guy has hit on good players that he's signed via free agency and drafting......

Oline is still a shit show
running backs are guys that wouldn't make practice squads
oh and I forgot Blair Walsh......

Plus there is the whole Jimmy Graham thing, lets face it his game finally elevated this year, "contract year"!

This exactly he hit it early with the legion of Boom but once he had to pay a QB money it all went to hell as the Legion aged and there was bad drafting to replace them with limited cap space and traded away draft picks for free agents that did not help

The Bad drafting part is as much as anything really. No Pro Bowlers drafted since 2012. Yes they were drafting 25 or later every year but have either missed on their first rounder or traded it away every year. Granted they have done ok in later rounds but you cant whiff on your best chance to get a blue chip guy 4-5 years in a row and expect to not take a step back.

Fair enough, but how much longer will AR-12 be playing in the NFL.

Hopefully for another 5 years or so. On the same token, if Seattle doesn't do something to shore up their O-Line, Wilson may not last that long.

I'm not so sure that Rodgers can make it another 5 years. You are right Seattle does have to shore up their O-line. Carroll always has had a decent run game, but with that O-line Wilson is going to get eaten alive.

I still don't think that's fair. Players can't just up and bail when the situation seems to be going south. I don't think coaches and GMs should be able to.
I didn't make the rules so if you have a problem with that contact Roger Goodell.

What reports? Carroll and Schneider have both said today that he's happy here in Seattle...
Schneider was born and raised in the Green Bay area and started his career with the Packers plus he would be in total control of player personnel in Green Bay.

 Why would Schneider want to leave Seattle to go to Green Bay?
So he could be in total control of player personnel unlike Seattle where Pete Carroll has the final say on draft picks.

I don't put the blame entirely on Schneider as Pete Carroll has final say on draft picks and free agent signings.

He said age 40 I mean he has to keep up with Brady so that would be more than a few years

Rodgers has already missed more games to injury than Brady has and that's with Brady missing an entire season with an ACL. Also, Brady has been in the league 5 years longer and has been a starter 7 years longer.

I'm not saying go look for a QB in the next draft, but Brady has been the benefit of both a phenomenal workout regiment and phenomenal luck. Not something everyone can repeat.

Seattle gonna need a lot of money or draft picks to fix that roster if this is true
Time to start the rebuild in Seattle. Get a line and running back for Wilson. Start drafting young guys to fill spots on the defense. Looking like the Rams will be the new top dog in the division, while Seattle, AZ, and SF all try to figure their shit out.

Team missed the playoffs this year, if those guys are out they will be tough/impossible to replace, the division is getting stronger not weaker.
Only the Rams are getting stronger.

Arizona is on a steep decline.
San Fran is run by a bunch of idiots and I don't seem them exceeding .500 any time soon.

i honestly dont think SF is as bad as people say, they need to keep adding pieces around the QB

AZ on the other hand...they could use some work

So something no one has really touched on.

If the hawks lose these 2 guys to retirement due to injuries. Havent heard the rumor of them getting rid of Bennett but add him in if this becomes true.

What is the cap implications of losing these guys. I dont think they are on their last year of their contracts. That will affect the team more than just trying to replace them on the field. Although whoever said replacing Kam is as easy as "blank" is full of shit.
Pretty sure all three had nice size bonuses attached to these contracts. I think Kam redid his contract early into his new contract which would make me think these might carry heavy cap hits. Dont really know though.

I am really not at all sure on the Kam situation. I've heard a few things really am sure what happens if he does indeed retire.

Avril was likely going to be cut anyway and nets them like $7.5 mil

Bennett has more dead money and only gets like $2 mil in savings so it almost doesn't make sense to cut him.
