Sadly, they can't because everyone keeps getting hurt. But they might when Nate and Torres are both back...

That's what I mean, it's not like there's any cavalry coming. Our pen, which is doing just fine, gets guys back, great.

But the lineup? Only Torres (blech) and Nate (ok, fine, not too shabby) are due to return. That's still not going to be enough to beat anyone good, including the Dbacks.

It's not shatting anymore, guys, it's reality. Still rooting for a miracle, but that's what it will be, a miracle. And it's all injuries and Huff and Ross and Torres pretty much. Sad to waste the pitching, but it will all be back next year...
