So the Vol's AD had made an offer and as of around 2am our time today was set to make the announcement that Leach was indeed the next HC...

A few hours later the school fired the AD.


So Leach is still in Pullman now with no AD and the uncertainty around that program as a lame duck HC that wanted out and now has to try to prove to his kids and your fans that his heart is still really into a job he just tried to leave.

Then why didn't he just sign the new deal he was offered and make it clear in public he had no interest and was staying? I mean that's what people do in these situations, particularly right now in this VERY high recruiting window. You leave no doubt.

Coaches and their agents must have their eyes rolling in the back of their heads at the deals and buyouts schools are throwing out there.
Wether Taggart stays or goes, hes now guaranteed he'll be flying on private jets and staying in 5 star hotels the rest of his life. Unreal the deals being thrown out there right now as these dominos keep falling around the NCAA.
