3 losses and a weak fan base should put us outside the ny6. however if we look good and other craps the bed, maybe
Seems they are obligated to take you even at 10-3 as Pac champion.
The reason it's bad for UW is USC would still get a better bowl even with that loss. A 9-4 Stanford with a loss probably wouldn't stay above UW.

The Fiesta is obligated to take the PAC champ this year since the Rose is a playoff game. If Stanford loses I have seen a lot of predictions of Stanford v. Michigan in the Holiday just to get the whole teacher has become the student hype going.

From what bowl predictions I've seen, about all of them are calling:

USC v Ohio State - Fiesta
Washington v Okla St. - Alamo
Stanford v Michigan - Holiday

That is, if USC beats Furd.

If not, expect some potential reshuffling.

So what are your thoughts about the CCG? After watching Stanford take apart Notre Dame I'm officially nervous about this one. USC needs to score early to get Stanford out of running it all day. I trust UScs dbs can do a better job than NDs DBs so USC needs to get Stanford in 3rd in really long because anything less than 3rd n 6 Stanford will just run.

Yeah, I'm pretty nervous about it too. Beating a good team twice in the same season is difficult.

...But I hope they trip up and Stanford wins it because fuck USC. I don't give two shits about what implications it has on how the conference looks or whatever nonsense is discussed in some Pac12 media circles.

UW places in a better bowl if USC wins out and goes to a NY6 and still I say fuck that. Alamo, Holiday, who cares? :noidea:

Now, now... Don't be like that! :heh:

Does Stanford take USCs place in a NY6 bowl if they win or does that knock USC out and they just get a less crappy regular bowl?
likely yes. Only the Champ is guaranteed a spot in a NY6 bowl in place of the Rose being a playoff game.

I dont believe the Fiesta is obligated to take the Pac champ but it makes the most sense because they sit in the footprint of the conference.

I meant only for years when the Rose is a playoff game. I need to find the link, but in the event that the PAC does not make the playoff on years when the rose is a play-in game, I believe the Fiesta has to take the PAC champ. I have been wrong before though.

Bad news for Leach and 0 TD Taggart. UWs Jimmy Lake says he isnt persuing any DC or HC jobs at this time and will be back with the Dawgs for the 2018 season. :hope:

Had more what? Losses? Sure. Oh you mean games where the team didn't score any touchdowns? Yeah. They had that one too. 3 games of 10 or less points.

Former New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards has reportedly emerged as a "serious candidate" for the vacant Arizona State Sun Devils head coaching job, according to 98.7 FM Arizona Sports' Paul Calvisi.

The Sun Devils, who are looking to replace Todd Graham following his ouster Sunday, have said they will target candidates with experience.

According to 98.7 FM Arizona Sports' Craig Morgan, vice president for university athletics Ray Anderson specified that "the new coach would need head coaching experience to take over the program at this stage."

On Tuesday, USA Today's Dan Wolkenreported that Saturday he was told Anderson had informed boosters he had a "blockbuster" hire brewing and that the athletics director was interested in candidates who had coached in the NFL.
