But it does not change the fact that Dan is the owner and Bruce is running the show, both likely for the foreseeable future. You can't hold the RG3 debacle over their head forever. You can't bitch about how we have let KC get away when it hasn't even happened yet.

I most certainly can and will hold them accountable for the RG3 MISTAKE until such time as they (Dan and Bruce), and for that matter some of the fan base who enable them, can show that they are past chasing elite. If Cousins continues to perform at the level he has, they will have no reason to move in a different direction.

Sadly the best predictor of future behavior is usually past behavior.

Ok. So they made a bad mistake in trading the world for what they thought was a franchise QB, happens often. Fact is, desperation and past failures at that position was a major factor in why they did that. I think most of the fan base was on board with the trade (even though they gave up a little too much) just because of that.... hope.

You are 100% right. It was a desperation move and most of us were on board. Which is why many of us are concerned that if we don't get KC re-signed, we are setting us up for another desperation move. KC will never be Aaron Rogers. But he is a vey capable QB and is still developing. I have to believe that even is most ardent detractors (who are honest with the situation) has seen continued improvement from KC this year, especially in the areas of play extension, making plays himself, and clutch performance when the team's back is against the wall. He still isn't perfect, but he is improving and is in the conversation by most all experts as a top QB in the league today. I just can't see any reason why one would believe that he won't continue to improve?

Seriously? He is first ballot HOF. With out a doubt.

Probably. He is extremely accurate, probably the most accurate passer ever with Peyton.

He is elusive and keeps plays alive but I don't see this as a good thing all the time. I think he takes hits he shouldn't and makes his OL look bad.

And in an era where greatness is determined by SB...he has been to only one.
