Yep, I agree with the replies so far in this thread. Pretty ugly so far.

This is why I laughed when I saw some sports books had the Bengals as 11 point favorites.

And the defense steps up and saves the day again.

The biggest take away in all this is that the real time game threads ain't what they used to be. Pour out a little liquor.

This is not a good football team. Same old shit every week. Run up the middle for no gain, Dalton clobbered every other drop back, and soft zone coverage allowing TE’s and underneath players chew up YAC. They were fully prepared to piss away another one at home, against a tomato can opponent.

It took the play of the season from Dunlap to pull that game out. The offense had no answers today. Against the pathetic Colts. This season is a lost cause.

I think we will see AJ Mcarron after the Jax game.

I think we should change Dalton's name to "Poor Andy Dalton."

It takes an extraordinary shitty line to make three 2nd round running backs all look like absolute bums.

I don’t want to hear another peep from anybody about how great the Bengals are at the draft. Ogbuehi and Fisher are both terrible. A pair of busts.

The mismanagement of the offensive line has killed this football team. It’s inexcusable. Letting Whitworth walk in FA was the single worst decision in franchise history outside of drafting Akili Smith.

But hey, at least we drafted John Ross #9 overall to stretch defenses vertically.

The single worst decision? That's a bit of a stretch. They've made a lot of bad decisions. I mean, they still pay Marvin Lewis.

I've been digging the Geoff Hobson mailbag regarding the offensive line. Ole' Butch claims that we can't blame the Bengals for not paying a guard like Zeitler..... Good teams would never do that. In the same article he praises the Pittsburgh Steelers commitment to the run over the past 2 decades - Those same Steelers that actually pay guards.

Not sure what to think about Whitworth..... I think he got his feelings hurt when the club drafted two tackles. On paper, they made the right decision - Draft tackles, develop them, and be ready for the wheels to come off of Whit and Tits (2 guys that played a lot of football and could decline at any point). But, as you said, the guys they did draft aren't good at all. Or, we're just not developing them. I have no idea how Paul Alexander isn't catching more grief from the media.

Colts had 26 players on IR and we won by 1 point. Three quality 2nd round running backs have ZERO holes to run through. Offensive line has to be a priority in the off season besides hiring a new coach.

I really like Paul Gunther, and my fear with a new coach, we lose Gunther as the DC. I don't think Paul is ready to be a HC because he learned too much from Marvin. I think the top needs a shake up, but that could ultimately mean some people leave.

Remember in the offseason when the line wasn't going to be a problem? Ole' Geoff had me convinced for a minute. Good times.

Pauly G will get the job - The players will continue to play like they are right now. Atkins and Green will be gone before we get back to the playoffs.

8 more seasons and then we move.

Start the clock.

I'm glad William Jackson is getting the least amount of snaps of all of our corners.

Gotta hand it to Marv and the braintrust.... They really get the job done.
