IM still trying to figure out he thinks in any reality, you call the guy who FIRED you and ask... he dude do me a solid. And dont end up getting fucked in THAT deal. Or why he thinks any one would make that call to begin with.

It is Dean's mental world. Don't try to make sense of it because you are capable of thought and you are sane.

i think this is funny because dean's wet dream and line of reasoning went hell and a hand basket . the 49ers took the cheaper grap .

all this talk about 30 mil is alarmist ABCer nonsense

the skins will tag KC again mark it down . the question is will KC sign it right away

the teams i listed above will need a qb oe need one .

the smart thing for the skins is sign KC get another good draft in and a free agent or 3 and make a run at the divison title in 18

which means the skins will do the exact opposite

having to draft a qb as a starter sets the team back 2 years min even more if they have to trade up and gut some drafts

only 1 of our free agents worked out the rest are busts so FA isnt a reliable building tool

But drafting a QB and playing big spender in FA is much more exciting than a boring Cousins that cant carry a team and isnt on sports center every night.

wouldn't pleased me. You said BA wants to get rid of KC. IF BA knows that he will not sign KC at all costs why wouldn't he take anything that he can get for him right now? Didn't you say Kyle wouldn't trade for a qb?
Dude, there is no way that BA is trading KC to Kyle for a 2nd. They can't stand each other. Bruce is not giving Kyle anything that might help him, especially a franchise QB, for a 2nd round pick. Pull your head out of your arse and use it to think once in a while.

You can probably bet on KC getting his money now.

UNless he falls off a cliff, Cousins is going to get paid, still might not be by the Redskins. But he was going to get his money as long as he is still playing at the level he has shown the past 2.5 seasons

And Eagles just traded a 4th for Ajayi. Great job Bruce. No doubt their current RBs are more than adequate.

IM saying Kyle would take Grap over groveling to Bruce. Much as you would take losing your car over asking the guy who fired you to spot you $10K.

Grap will be Kyles guy because he doesnt WANT to go 0-16 if he can avoid it, and he basically gave up a 2nd rounder to run a 8 game trial. If Grap works out, great they can resign him. If not, well they still can

1. Go after Kirk
2. Draft Superman in the top 5

In either case, he didnt have to Kiss Bruce Allens ass. So youe spot is still untouched. :D

And again, would YOU trade Kirk to Kyle for a 2nd rounder??

however you want to spin it there is no conspiracy theory like you suggested. Strong rumors at draft time that the Browns offered there #12 overall pick for Grap and NE said no. Money is no issue with the 49ers so that point is irrelevant.

For only a fourth. :hail::hail:
That is a deal I could have been behind and I'm not a fan of trading away draft picks. Although apparently he is a bit of a head case and Miami just got tired of dealing with his drama.

Miami is probably also tanking for a QB next year so that might be part of what drove them to trade away Ajayi.

Why does it have ot be a conspiracy theory.

I have stated, I dont think Bruce actually WANTS Kirk around.
He will resign him if
1. Its a better option than going after a rookie
2. He can proclaim he some how won.

I do believe that Bruce put this team together and basically still wants Kirk to PROVE he is worth the contract. The level of proof is subjective.

Do I think Bruce wants Kirk to succeed in the end? Not really, because signing Kirk long term would just be a reminder of his past failures, and Bruce does not strike me as the type who likes to be reminded of his mistakes.

you are the one who thought that. If BA wanted KC gone like you said he does he would of explored trade options. If the organization knows KC is gone no matter what why not get any draft picks for him? The fact that you even think Allen doesn't want to sign KC long term is false.

BA could of went to a lot of teams to shop KC. The fact that he didn't means there is a good chance a long term deal will be done right here in Washington. Why wouldn't the 49ers just wait and see how it played out? Even if KC did sign long term with us they still have the most money in FA to get Grap. Plus they don't give up a high pick. There was no point in trading for him now. The 49ers boxed themselves in.

At the risk of saying be reasonable... think about this for a moment. Does Bruce want to keep Kirk? I dont think so. Is Bruce going to give him away for a 2nd rounder to some one he doesnt like?? Not in the least. Bruce is many things.. Clueless when it comes to talent, Arrogant and a politician. But he isnt stupid.

Could he have shopped Cousins?? Sure. But what good would it do aside for just being rid of him. At the end of the day it takes two to make a trade. Bruce wasnt calling Kyle and Kyle sure wasnt calling Bruce.

As for the 49ers, they just gave up a 2nd rounder in order to have an 8 game try and buy on a QB. If Grap works, they dont have to get into a bidding war for his or Cousins services, because they own his rights.

If he doesnt work, well it cost them a second rounder but they are no worse off because they can still

1. Draft a QB
2. Go after Cousins when he becomes a free agent.

Im not saying KC to the 49ers. BA still could of shopped him to the Jets or Cle. IF he wanted him out of here why not? This just blows up your theory that BA doesnt want KC here. No way they are going to give up on Grap after a half a season on a bad team. Grap is going to be there guy in 2018.

Pats really screwed themselves by not taking the #12 overall pick for Grap. I believe the 49ers boxed themselves in with doing this deal now. NOt only it takes them out of the KC running but it takes them out of the rookie QB running. Plus you have to factor in that the 49ers have the most money in FA.

Because what you refuse to accept is the simple truth.. when you shop a player you generally get less than that player is worth. You also run the risk that if you trade the player to some place he is unwilling to go, he will refuse to show. Then you have one of two choices.. hold onto a pissed off player, or release that player. Sure Bruce COULD have traded Cousins to the Browns, Cousins could have said Im not going to the Browns.

Dont mistake necessity for want Dean. Bruce currently NEEDS a starting QB, thats Kirk. If Given another option, Kirk will be gone.

And again, if Grap is basically an 8 game rental how does this trade take them out of the rookie QB running?? Does this trade mean they CANT draft a rookie QB?? Does it preclude them from say trading their #1 pick to some one like Washington, getting an extra pick and taking another QB??

If the 49ers view Garoppolo as being as good as most/all of the QBs coming out next draft (legit opinion) then this might help them quite a bit. They can now use their top pick to address other areas & get a head start on acclimating Garoppolo to the 49ers system. It may not work out, but you can say the same thing with drafting just about any QB next year.

From a Redskins perspective this has to be viewed in a positive light. There are no guarantees that Cousins won't go elsewhere but this likely removes one significant competitor for his services. IMO the key is that the Redskins should not dick around with negotiations like they did this offseason at the risk of either losing him or paying some ridiculous tag amt. We will see.

oh please. its the fact of getting someone for someone that is going to give you nothing. By BA not doing this means he still wants him. By doing this trade the 49ers will not draft a QB with there first round pick in the top 3. The 49ers now own his rights to get a long term deal done.

I agree Grap will be the 49ers Qb for 2018
