me too ... he was through vancouver in august and my wife and i wanted to go but couldnt make it happen so i thought oh ill see him next time hes in town

Sad news. One of my favourite musicians and one of my biggest regrets is never managing to see him live. Always figured that I would some day but apparently not.

Can't say I was a big fan, but I respected him as an artist.

And Penny Marshal at the same time
Couldn't understand half of what either said, but I smiled and laughed
Penny, I spoke with all night. Tom really just came up to talk to her but since I was already talking to her he was nice to me as well.

As minor as it is I actually kind of like that scene in Silence of the Lambs, her just rocking out in the car. We can all relate to that.
