Clemson's had 5 straight years finishing in the top 15. And have won 10 or more games 6 straight seasons, and have played in back to back titles, winning one, if that's not sustaining it, I don't know what else to say. They may go into a decline, but only if Dabo leaves, he's that good.

Personally, I've always respected Michigan quite a lot, and often found myself rooting for them in the Big Ten.

Excellent academic reputation, not usually embroiled by scandals, and the whole "the enemy of my enemy (Notre Dame) is my friend" thing. Hail to the Victors is probably the only college fight song that I know start to finish, other than Fight On.

But some of the Michigan fans around here are certainly trying to sour my opinion of their team

I take my shots at all the blue blood programs that haven't won a title recently, but of all the blue blood programs, I have the least amount of respect for Michigan, mainly because of their fans.

There is a great deal of truth in that.

In person, they are just smug, rude assholes. Whipping their ass is always a pleasure.
If only their fans weren't long gone before we returned to the parking lot it would be
even better.

Notre Dame fans were pretty cool folks. They act like they've been there. Nebraska fans
were awesome people. They make you feel like you've known them all your life.
South Carolina fans are good folks. Auburn people weren't bad.

There's a difference in fans supporting their ball clubs, boasting about them and talking
shit. I can do that with all of them. Florida and Clemson are mouthy, but I imagine they
think the same about me. (rival thing). Miami fans talk a great deal, but I don't speak
Spanish so I've never known what the hell they were saying.

But Michigan folks...every damn one of them act like the world begins and ends with them.
They just ignore other fans. A total, complete, classless group of people.
