USC vs Western Michigan on PAC12

Imho if Speight plays like that against OSU, Whisky and or Penn State. I'm not sure the Michigan D is enough. I think all three have more than enough offense to capitalize. A pick 12 game against any of them would be a disaster

Well, he had the game of his life vs us and our freshmen had three picks yet we still had a chance to win/tie on the last drive. Their D is very good though despite losing a ton of talent they should have enough to at least compete. Their schedule is rough as they play @ PSU and a stretch in the last three games of the year @ MD, @ UW, and @ OSU. Good luck with that.

I saw most of the OSU,PSU game, the MD game and parts of the Wisconsin game. Indiana was actually impressive too imo. It's only week 1 there's a lot of football left. I wouldn't be writing anyone in yet. But if Speight doesn't progress I'm not sure how far their d can take them. Or how much of that was Floridas offense. There's some great teams in the B1G

Some teams have really stepped up but some teams disappointed in Nebraska and Northwestern. I think Florida's offense is dreadful but I still believe Michigan will have a solid defense.

Or how Harbaugh hasn't been able to develop anything better. I wouldn't even count him as a game manager.

He can throw down field and he did against Florida. He definitely has some stuff to work on but certainly has the arm.

And he is a good game manager. His pocket presence is spectacular as is his ability to get away from pressure. I really like the kid.

I like what I saw out of Whisky. Fumagali is still a beast. May have just been me but it looked like you're RB has more big play potential than Clement. Barkley and the PSU looked very potent. Dobbins was very impressive for tOSU. And those Indiana WRs were quite impressive imo. If Speight goes full pick 12 again or doesn't improve. There's some very balanced teams on that schedule.With stout defenses and much better offenses than Florida. That I could see setting them back. It's way early in the season the next few weeks should give a solid gauge on a lot of teams imo.

Speight didn't just throw 2 picks. He through two pick 6's. And really wasn't that impressive. I believe why people are laughing. Is because you seem to give the impression a QB that threw more TD's to the opposing team. Than he did to his own players. Is a high tier QB. While Michigans defense did look very good. Florida isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut. And Michigan has some very solid defensive teams on the slate. With much more potent offenses. We're only one game into the season I wouldn't get too excited just yet. Michigan will need to make corrections and adjustments. And in my honest opinion. I wouldn't be sold on Speight based on his performance so far.You may find a different result in those other match ups.

No different than I wouldn't pass a judgement on SC yet. While there are things I really liked. Especially the combination of Rojo and Carr in the running game. It would be foolish to say there aren't aspects of SC's game that need work. Or to assume anything based on the first game of the season. I could run down a list of things that need correction. Tis only the first week of the season en sech
