Ha ha, please. Kansas would have a top ten defense in the B1G with the immense amount of shitty offenses in your conference. There is a reason B1G defenses were defacated on in bowl season once they stepped out of their conference.
lol no. There's a reason why Oklahoma's offense scored 17 points against Ohio State at home and never scored less than 34 in conference. Oh yeah, there was also our offense putting on a clinic passing the ball on your best team in their own house despite the fact that our passing offense actually sucked last year.

I imagine Indiana will keep it close until about Half-time, and then OSU will dominate and win by 30+

Kansas gave up nearly 500 yards and 37 points to Ohio university. Ohio U was 85th in scoring offense and 77th in total offense.

They also allowed a crappy Iowa State offense to over their averages on both.

They would not be a "top defense" in any conference.

That's tOSU, the only legit good team from the B1G every year. tOSU would do that to practically any team from any conference. The rest of the B1G would get ran out of town though. Once again, hence the reason B1G defenses were taken to the woodshed during bowl season.

A lot of technical talk here. Just play your base game and you'll win on superior talent. Go Bucks.

I think that's the problem.
They have never played their base game with Wilson before.

He needs to know what they can do.

LOL, no they don't.....

It is priceless to see a Big 12 team saying ANY defense is no good, when you play in what looks like an intramural league where 50-48 type games are the norm.

Haha, except they weren't.
You might recall Minnesota holding Wazzou (38 ppg) to 12 in their bowl and beating them.
Pitt (40 ppg, beat Penn St. and Clemson) was held to 24 in a loss to Northwestern.
#19 Utah (4th in the Pac12) barely escaped Indiana (9th in the B1G) 26-24 (fair matchup, huh?)

In fact, only 1 or 2 B1G teams allowed their opponents to even hit their season average. Also, all of this coming from a Texas fan whose joke of a team couldn't even beat Kansas is hilarious.

Give him a pass, ATF. The stars in Texas might be big and bright, but not much else is.

Over half of the Big 12 teams would have top 25 defenses if they had to face the Pop Warner type of offenses from the B1G every week and that is a fact. Big 12 defenses gave up an average of 21.5 ppg in their bowl games last year. B1G defenses gave up 29.8 ppg in their bowl games. Grant it, the B1G played more bowl games than the Big 12, but it shows how Big 12 defenses are pretty stout when they are not facing a HUNH offense every Saturday.

Not really sure that that has to do with your overrated conference getting taken to the woodshed in their bowl games as usual last year???

Yes, it also explains why the American Athletic Conference had more players drafted than the Big 12 this past year.

Bowl games are meaningless if you aren't in the CFP. Teams are trying out players for the next year to get them experience, guys are sitting out not to get hurt before the draft, etc.

Look at OOC games if you want to get a true reading on defenses.

Gee, I wonder why that would've been? Oh yeah.

Big 12 opponents:
Boise State
Miami
Texas A&M
#10 Colorado
Georgia
#14 Auburn

B1G Opponents:
Boston College
Washington State
#23 Pitt
#19 Utah
#21 Tennessee
#11 Florida State
#17 Florida
#15 Western Michigan
#9 USC
#2 Clemson

Are you seriously this fucking stupid? 33% of your bowl games were against ranked teams while 80% of ours were against ranked teams.

Not at all, but thank you for pointing out how overrated the B1G was last year as they went 3-7 in their bowl games and how overrated their defenses are once they stepped out of conference. You would think as much as the B1G was pimped out as being the best conference they would have had a better showing at the end of the season against ranked teams, right?
