Oh Ooooo should we be worried that Goff still isn't getting it?
Sean McVay: Jared Goff has improved; We’ll let best player play

Yeah lets hope so. It just struck me that once again a head coach will not come out and say Goff is the real deal and he was the number one pick for a good reason. Instead we basically get the job is up for grabs. Kind of scary. But you are right it's early and we won't know anything till game day.we won't know anything until the real games begin. alot of players look good in shorts and shirts or even preseason, but then when it really matters, they either disappear or are just plain awful.
I do like the fact that he is willing to play BPA unlike Fisher who played "his guys" regardless of the results.
I think the question comes down to, if Goff does struggle, how long before McVay subs in Mannion? 2 games? 3? 4? half the season? I guess only time will tell.
let's just hope it doesn't come to that and Goff proves he can be a franchise QB. his rookie season mirrors Eli's. let's hope Jared has similar results.
No thank you.Maybe they better keep Kaep's number by the phone...
No thank you.
I was all for it prior to the Flag BS of his. He can take his headlines somewhere else!

I don't think it has changed into hated for the Military and the Flag, nor do most IMO.Sad that his concern over police brutality involving minorities has been somehow changed into hatred for the military and the flag. Talk about fake news...
Maybe not Kaep but you make a good point. This isn't encouraging at all. We can hope for the best that both are just practicing very well, blurring the lines, but that isn't the most likely scenario. Maybe they better keep Kaep's number by the phone...

It does beg the question with matters of great importance, like abuse of power in our Nation, to what ends justify the means?
Where is the line?
It's a lot easier when the lines are not blurred, as with obvious terrorist attempts in the name of whatever the cause.
We live with our convictions though, and I applaud most who employ lawful attempts such as this to make a difference with the injustices of the World, and somberly there are too many, way too many, but I applaud it because it usually comes with a cost, and this is no different for Kaep as he struggles to find a backup role in the NFL.
With that however I cannot discount Kaep's coarse disregard for a symbol that has such a deep and ubiquitous meaning to so many in this Nation that he has prospered in a large degree. His actions, in the name of his cause are careless at best and with that, Kaep is not someone who I would want as the face of our Organization.
It's as simple as that.
Maybe not Kaep but you make a good point.
Go Sean Mannion! This is your chance to take this team to the Promise Land!![]()
The original message was lazy, ill thought out and now the message is crying foul about the apparent costs of those actions. He has been very ignorant in: his initial approach to deliver his message; about those he has allied with to further his message; and about the ramifications of his message. That is the over-reaction (IMO) and misdirection that cripples the original message. Everyone is entitled to their own reaction of course, but I think that reaction is ignoring the intent, as Kaep comes from a military family. His choice of method is flawed as a result, but it's clear that it did raise the issue into a portion of the populace that didn't want to acknowledge it existed.
Ya' gotta love McVay's attitude and approach!
