Garbutt knocks the puck down with a hit stick to Roussel who deposits it in the Kings net.

Also from the same game - Dustin Brown with a fly-by on Roussel who gets clipped by his own stick (karma works in mysterious ways).

Yeah it happens.
There is an angle that shows a linesman calling the high stick. The refs overuled him saying that it touched quick and the rebound was shot in. I thought that a King player had to "control" the puck in order to negate the high stick.
Kings won the game so I'm good. Bad calls happen to every team. It seems more each year. When it is malice and not just error then it is time to quit watching.

I'm surprised that was even a reviewable play since it didn't go directly in from the high stick.

The refs ruled that quick controlled the puck by making a save. Otherwise they made a mistake and refs never make mistakes. If it goes in off the high stick (which the linesman had called) it is not a goal. If a Dallas player touches it after a the high stick it is not a goal. A king player needs to control the puck before a Dallas player can touch it so that is what happened. The war room must have reviewed if a Dallas player touched it after Quick controlled it.

It wasn't reviewable in the sense of the goal.

The zebras got together and decided the bounce off Quick's pad constituted control.

Terrible call, but at least Dallas lost. So I was okay with it.
