This Saturday Apopka (Darlington's HS) will play at Byrnes (S.C.) on ESPN at 11 central. I will probably set my DVR and watch this at some point.

Also, I kinda forgot that his dad is the coach and loves NU's offense, so it could be kinda neat to see how similar/different the stuff they run is to us.

Darlington is someone who's gonna have to prove it in B1G play.

I'm not THAT impressed with him.

I was excited he chose Nebraska, but we've had a handful of highly touted dual thread QB's come through here recently, and the only one who panned out wasn't even classified as a QB by most recruiting services.

Byrnes runs a high schools version of big 12 spread 4 wide with inside zone runs. Big wr outside top four are 6 ft and up.

And apoka is like looking at a high version of Becks offense. Zone read flu sweeps sending back in the flat.

And now 7-7 Byrnes just did a sneaky onside kick

he's out. he's sitting out until the doctor's tell him he can play. i read an article just today that said he was coaching the team. I don't recall it saying the actual severity.
