I'd like to see how these games would go with each team having the normal one week to prepare. Not saying we'd definitely win, but I think you're right in saying when teams have time to prepare, our offense becomes ordinary.

If you folks want to seriously talk Oregon football with me, I'll be in the hockey forum during game days. I thought this was a good summary of our OOC games. Maybe I was wrong.

thus far it looks to be one, I really didn't have much of a response for it. This wasn't the best of threads to find a response, the College Football board is the more serious one.

so far you seem to be correct but we'll find out once you enter conference play, the only opposition to your idea is the Cal game because Cal was the one other defense that found the solution to stopping your offense. Of course in that game Cal's offense was so bad they couldn't do much to take advantage of that fact. Stanford might be one that learns how to stop you this year.

Do you guys play any teams that play you after a bye week, if your theory is correct they could be a threat to beat you.

Just Cal, but we come off a bye week as well, and it's at home. But, as you said, cal was the only Pac-10 team to slow us down last year. So, we'll see.

that's going to be a challenge, because in these last two games that you lost you guys had the same amount of time as they did.

not at all. we are #9 in the country. we move up at least 1 spot after this weekend due to Nebraska/Wiscosnin game.

we wont lose another game this year. I dont see a team in the PAC that can beat us. 12-1 Oregon team will be looking at a NC game.

if you paid attention to your own team you would know that teams with extra time to prepare for your offense tend to successfully stop it, Cal is on bye this week.

plus they stopped you last year too, they have a much better QB too.
