Vince Carter is the only other player to play 22 seasons... LBJ will have a $51 million option. 40th birthday awaiting in December, gonna be tough to turn that down.

We'll see what happens with his kid...

I don't see why he wouldn't be back for another season...heck, or even possibly 2 more.
He's still putting up incredible numbers.

Also...gonna be interesting to see where KD lands next season...or if he remains in Phoenix.

With this kid?

I bet he is older than the kid that started this thread.

The team being very open to giving Lebron a 3/164 contract AND they are willing to draft his kid, even when it’s obvious he is nowhere near NBA ready?

He isn’t leaving the Lakers.

Lmfao @ anyone believing he will.

I hope he doesn't. What he accomplished at his age this season is near superhuman!

My only concern is giving a guy $55m a year when eventually, thanks to father time, he could become nothing more than a role player in a couple of years.

Drafting Bronny isn't really as issue for me. Give him a two-way and let him play a few minutes with his dad against the lesser teams and blowouts.

Depends on where the Lakers take him.

I wouldn’t breathe in that kid’s direction at #17.

He’s not a NBA talent and the only reason he’s being talked about at all is pretty obvious.

He won’t likely be around at #55.

So, do they trade back, buy a pick or pray he goes undrafted?

The Lakers have a tendency to capitulate to their star players.

They will find a way to get it done I’m sure.

It'll be an interesting summer for a lot of teams, that's for sure.

At Lebrons age, I don't quite see him going anywhere else except the Cavs maybe.

I just can’t see him leaving the Lakers.

For what?

He has already fulfilled his obligation to Ohio.

Would he be the missing piece that puts the Cavs over the top?

Quite possibly, if he went there for the minimum.

No chance he does that.

I could see him maybe signing a 1 day contract and retire immediately a few years from now.

Dude still has meaningful basketball to be played.

But the Lakers need to do better with his supporting cast or no more chips for him.

It’s not like the team is bad. They literally just keep running into the wrong team. WCF’s last year and this year they legitimately could have win this series.
1. No way he is retiring this year bc he wants to play with Bronny.
2. He has a huge option this year and if Bron asked the FO to draft Bronny they would in a heartbeat
3. He can watch Bryce play in LA and do his other gigs.

We will likely see him retire in LA unless he signs with Cleveland for his last year (not this year) or a one day contract.

Well that's one of the reason I don't think he would move anywhere else but Cleveland for 'possible' sentimental reasons - you know play with his son (if Cleveland draft him) in the place where it all started.

Financially it would of course make a lot more sense if he stayed in LA so I have high hopes. I'd like to see him retire as a Laker.

Not gonna lie it would be interesting to see him back in Miami.. Herro and Jaquez would make for a good S&T package.

Herro is only 24. No way the Heat give him up for, at best, two years of Lebron.

I personally wouldn't complain, but i'd be pissed if I were a Heat fan.
