It's going to be interesting to see how A-Rod does in the clubhouse. I remember reading the Joe Torree autobiography and it was evident that A-Rod is not a very popular guy in the clubhouse. But now that's he older, maybe he can step up and be the leader that can pull the team together.

I don't see how A-Rod could be anything but a pariah in the clubhouse but Jetes, C.C. and co. made a public spectacle of appearing to be squarely in his corner.

Just reading this quote in an article on Forbes.

Although the Yankee brass would never say it, it seems like the team is sacrificing the next two years until it can open some payroll slots. A position its fans are not accustomed to.

He also suggests that A-Rod and even C.C. could be outrighted by Memorial Day if it's not working.

Tampa is a lock to finish last.

They got pitching. Lots of good, young arms. Archer, Smyly, Cobb, Odorizzi and Moore is a pretty talented rotation.

Their offense is mediocre, but they still got Longo, Zobrist, Jennings and Loney.

Exactly the Prado deal makes no sense.....now we don't have a starting 2nd baseman.

Prado could've been so useful for us because of all the different positions he could play.

Phelps is nothing special as he was basically a long reliever and someone you plug in if one of your starters hit the DL for a month or 2

lol, me neither, and i am a yankees fan..... i am confused with this trade, who gives up a player who can play any postion on the field, and play it well, who's got a proven stick in the bigs... i know they are not sure what will be with Nova, still have no clue the benefit of a pitcher who basically pitched for a AAA team
