I was just offered A J Polluck for Zach Greinke straight up.

Just because I have a long injury riddled season in that league, doesn't mean I am a complete idiot.

Pollock is a 15-30 candidate... with 100 runs, 70 rbi and a .300 avg. Nothing to sneeze at.

True, but for Greinke or Kershaw? Need more than that, I would think.

I agree. But probably only something like a #3 SP. If your pitching is great, and you need a top tenish OF, it's not out of the question.

Let's look at it another way, I was offered a 7th rounder for a second rounder. And when I didn't take it, he offered me the same 7th rounder for a first rounder.

Yes. Ridiculous second offer. He should have added to Pollock. Who are your starting OF?

Ellsbury, Bruce, and David Peralta. I have Corey Dickerson in a Utility spot and Souza on the bench.

The team needs offensive help, but another plug in OFer is not the answer. This was one of those decent Roto teams that got plagued by injuries.

Well, I don't consider Pollock a plug in OF. I think he would immediately become your best OF.

Not saying to take the offer, but I would counter with your 3rd SP, or Pollock and an arm (or another position upgrade), for Greinke.

If your 3rd SP is a big drop off, maybe you add Peralta to sweeten the pot.

And this is why I don't trade much. I am normally pretty good at Fantasy except when it comes to trades. I look at it and go yeah right, where TKO looks at it and goes how can I use this to my advantage.

I over countered but WTH. Grienke and Souza for Pollock and Frazier.

Good test. Now he knows what you think of Greinke. Would you swap Greinke and Kershaw in that offer? (I would), maybe he bites...

Although I would use Peralta, not Souza.

I'm on board with TKO's way of thinking here, and I agree that Pollock probably becomes your best OF.

In one of my leagues a die hard cardinal fan just traded Zach Greinke for Carlos Martinez.

That guy now has kershaw and Greinke. :L
