Would you trade with your opponent in the last week before playoffs?

Going into the last week before playoffs I'm in third place. I'm a pretty safe bet to make the playoffs, even if I lose this week based on points scored, though it may make the difference of facing the fourth place team or the first or second placed team. There's two teams in the 6-7 spots that will be fighting for a playoff spot. I'm wondering if one isn't primed to make a trade to try to get over the hump, but I'm going against one this week. Would you shy away from that team?

The only time I would avoid trading with my opponent is if I were in a must win and the trade improved his chances of winning.
