While it was a close game in the first half, LSU pulled away in the 3rd quarter and never looked back. Was hoping that WKU was going to have a good showing and keep it somewhat close to maybe lure some decent recruits in there next year.

BTW, does anyone know how much money they get for playing this game at LSU?

Used to seeing WKU on the winning end of these lopsided games. I have a feeling that they'll take out their frustrations next week at Old Dominion.

good game WKU. But this game was monumental for LSU. They completed a game in storm like conditions. Improvements already on the season.

Same to you. I was glad we were able to hold Fournette to under 200 yards rushing because I thought he was going to torch the defense tonight. I think that Doughty will get a chance to at least be a backup for someone on Sunday's next season for sure. But please, please, please beat Alabama in a couple weeks.

They have been incredibly generous this season, from inviting South Carolina to play at their house during a storm, even though Clemson was somehow able to play a home game that weekend, to having their fans not attend tonights game due to the rain and hope to not have such a strong home field advantage and make WKU feel overwhelmed.

Hard fought game by the Hilltoppers, not shocked they hung tight. Laughable people thought Western Kentucky would win the game outright though. Did a hell of a job on defense for the most part, also a bs ejection on WKU's player. Did anyone see that phantom defensive holding call that was going to ice the game for LSU making it 40-13? They didn't show the replay in the stadium.

What can I say, we have a very generous fan base. I was almost waiting to cordially be inveted to LSU's funeral as so many poster saw LSU's non-conference regular season streak being broken by WKU.
