I'm going with Khalil Mack. Seems like the kind of player Gus Bradley would want to build his D around.

Bortles..good smart quarter back. Being from a florida school can hurt matters.

Bortles. Not because I think he'll go third. But because I think he'll go first.

This one's already over. I say Bortles because there are pros and cons to the top 3 guys and Bortles is the (relatively) local product to help sell tickets.

I'm going with OT Greg Robinson.

After drafting LT Luke Joeckle in 2013 draft why not finish the job of bookend OT's for years to come, thereby providing protection for their future franchise QB, whomever that may be.

I went bridgewater because I think he is the better QB, but Bortles was a close second

Don't they still need a QB to protect

This poll is snailing. Bortles by a mile. I'll put the Brownies up tonight after work.

Blake Bortles = Blaine Gabbert.. Very similar physically, mechanics, both should have stayed in college another year. How did that work out for Jax in drafting Gabbert. David Carr failed miserbly in Houston because their O-Line was atrocious. Teams drafting a QB out of desperation, see Jax, Min, Ten in recent years, tend to fail for years when repeating history. JMO.

They re-signed Henne and could look for their QB later in the draft, Mettenberger, Garoppolo.

I read reports they were shying away from the top QB's. That screams smokescreen to me but it could also be they are sending out feelers for a potential trade down too. Henne played pretty well for them really. I could see them snagging Watkins or Clowney if one or the other is still there if they don't get what they are looking for for that #3 overall.

I could see Jax going in many different directions with their pick at #3, including what you have stated. I could also envision them wanting to shore up their O-Line for years to come by selecting either Robinson or J. Matthews and then either drafting a QB in the later rounds this year or possibly waiting until next year for Mariotta or Bret Hundley.

My belief is that you need a pretty damn good O-Line 1st before drafting another rookie QB. Jax Center Brad Meester just retired this year and they have questions at C, OG, RT. Drafting a pro-bowl caliber OT like Robinson or Matthews makes sense to me than to take a risk on Bortles, or slight framed Bridgewater or Manziel.

I think the Jags could really work the phones and end up with a great deal. I think they could trade back with someone like TPA (for an early 2nd and probably 4th) who want Jake Matthews. Then if wherever they land, they pray Manziel is still on the board and trade with Houston for their 2nd this year and unprotected #1 next year. That would give them 3 early 2nd rounders, and they have a need for a RB now. So with the #1 in the 2nd round they could get Carlos Hyde most likely, then still have two more picks relatively close to pick up solid depth players that should still be able to start. The run on QBs will be over by that point, so they can see who slipped.

Blowout. With the 3rd pick the Jaguars select......

BLAKE BORTLES, QB, CENTRAL FLORIDA

The Jags get a new guy to throw the football now that Gabbert is a Niner. Good pick.

Coming up next - The Browns
