Not too many there from the looks of it.

Rutgers is notorious for being awful at defending the outside run. So what does Andy Ludwig do? Why, he runs down the middle on 1st and 2nd down both drives. Because that totally makes sense when you have two great running backs capable of running the jet sweep.

It's pretty amazing that we have zero first downs and our third string QB punting, and yet we aren't losing. It says a lot about our defense.

If our offensive coaching staff was 1/5 as good as the defensive coaching staff, we'd be amazing. Our offense returns everyone and sucks. Our defense loses everyone and is elite.

AJ Jordan has been a complete failure as a WR, but he's quite the special teamer. Huge play there.

Edit: Leads to a Gordon TD. 7-0 Badgers.

That camera shot showed a 60% full stadium at best. Cold and rainy games are the worst to attend.

If our offensive coaching staff was 1/5 as good as the defensive coaching staff, we'd be amazing. Our offense returns everyone and sucks. Our defense loses everyone and is elite.

So McEvoy misses Erickson when he is 20 yards past every defender (why are we throwing deep with Tanner on 1st down), but the defense comes back with two awesome stops on 2nd and 1.

I really hope Dave Aranda stays low-profile. As long as he and Andersen are there, this defense is gonna be special. As far as I'm concerned, our defensive staff is on par with Michigan State, Stanford, and Alabama. Their resume over the last decade is up there with anyone.

Edit: And Clement, the New Jersey native with a great TD run. Good for Corey. You clearly made the right choice, bud.

I don't like Wisky's red helmets and I like the white a lot

I like when Wisky uses the red helmets at home only, so that the Badgers don't look almost identical to Nebraska's home uniforms.....so, for this reason, I believe the Badgers should always use red helmets at home. However, on the road, I like when the Badgers go with the all white stormtrooper look.

That's game. 37-0 final score. The defense was scary today. Rutgers had 85 total yards before their last drive with 3 minutes left. The offense wasn't spectacular, but it's hard to be angry when the defense plays like that.
