What a disgustingly awful half. We have no played 9 halves on the season, and the offense has legitimately laid an egg in four of them. If that the second half is #5, the season is over.

If there is a more mentally handicapped offensive coordinator in college football than Ludwig, I'd really like to see them.

Maybe he thinks he supposed to make the team look as offensive as possible, and he's doing a good job of that. Somebody should probably clear up this mistaken understanding of the job to him. I get it, offensive is a rather large word for the feeble minded. I think a good whack on the head with a baseball bat would be a good start.

The other frustrating thing was the the defense kept slipping. You knew you were going to play outdoors on grass with a chance of rain. I get that we normally practice outdoors on field turf or indoors, but did they even bother to get used to the grass? I swear, there have been 15-20 defenders just slipping with no one near them.

We're honestly lucky to only be down 10.

Gordon had averaged 50 yards on his first carry of the second half against FBS teams. He managed to improve on that there.
