Well, they'll never strip him of the C...not unless he publicly trashes the team or embarrasses them really bad or something. So I just don't anticipate that happening.

As long as Richards is healthy then I expect to see him at his best.

I'm pretty sure that was just a rumor. I don't think they ever seriously considered taking the C away from Richards. That would've done more harm than good.

I am a huge Richards fan but this season.............he has not played up to his potential!

I understand Lavi has him chasing down bodies and bumping and grinding but he is missed on the O-fense side not to mention him chopping peoples legs in front of the Zebras against the Isles with home ice on the line..........Not a Captain move!

Enough with the "strip the C from Richards" talk!

This series will not hinge on Mike Richards, as much as I hope he scores a hat trick every game (which seems to be the only way people will stop trashing the guy).

The Flyers gotta hope Miller doesn't stand on his head and steal the series, and get contributions from multiple lines. If they do that, there's no way Buffalo can keep up. If Richards plays sound defense, kills penalties, and chips in with a goal or assist every game or so, he's done all he needs to.

I love the guy, but he is not doing his job. I post his SH against the Habs way too much, but in that video you can see he wants this team to win. But instead of letting them sag off and let himself being invisble for a good chunk of the season he has gotta step and tell this team it is do or die.
