Haha. Not gonna happen. Let some other moron draft him too high and lose 10 fantasy games.

He could be the #1 fantasy RB in the league if he played for a team with an average passing game that relied heavily on the running game, but the Packers have the best QB + WR corps in the league and score a lot of TD from 20+ yards out.

I'd draft him at #2, I think.

The lone feature back on the best QBs team. That's not a bad place to be for a running back.

Oh yea, easily. One of the very few high volume, small injury history RB's, that alone makes him a top choice. But #1? I'd rather have L. Bell, McCoy, Lynch, or F.orte..maybe even Luck too

I think it's a combination of lack of wear and tear, good track record anyway, established situation, and no suspension looming.

But the gap in value between him and the next several guys is small. Bad year to pick in the top 4.

I think the Bell suspension, McCoy new situation with no QB and Charles missing time recently is leading to that.

I think he could easily get 14 or 15 TDs and 1200 yards. Ill sign up for that any day of the week. Plus his receiving game has greatly improved.

I don't think he will as we get closer to the traditional draft period... But early on he is probably the SAFEST RB pick out there... and the earlier you draft the less risks you are willing to take...

Who's a safer RB pick at #1 really?

Lacy is certainly in the discussion.

He's absolutely in the discussion. .he just doesn't get my vote is all. Personally, I feel McCoy in Ryan's ground and pound is the easy choice. And I'd still take LeVeon second, even with the suspension looming. After that it's a lot murkier. But yes, he's definitely deserving of being in the conversation

also, 2 years in a row with kind of slow starts to the year.
Took him a moment to take the lead role his rookie year, and the GB offense in general was slow to get going last year.

If they are firing on all cylinders to kick the year off, he could easily post better numbers than what he already has done.

I think he has one of the highest floors, which makes him a good bet to be ranked #1 in May.

McCoy's offense might suck. And you're missing two games with Leveon.

Why not Lacy? Where's the negatives? Where's the downside?

Lacy plays on a great offense.
He essentially has zero competition behind him (i.e. Starks)
He can amass "garbage" yards running out the clock.
Only 2 RB had more TD than him.

Lacy is a guy that will get your fantasy team points regardless of the day the Packers are having. You can't say that about many other backs.

Starks, Kuhn, Rodgers all get rushing TD's too, Rodgers throws for 35-40, there's only so many to go around. And I'm not saying it isn't close, it is, I just prefer some other guys over him that's all
