I would say outside of 1 maybe 2 games, overall Wentz last season looked meh.

Bro, he was a heck of a lot better then “meh”. He wasn’t as good as his incredible 2017 season. It wasn’t only the injury. He held on to the ball too long and there were a couple games we needed him to step up but he didn’t. I understand the hesitancy because of the 2 injuries but he is a fantastic player. I’m telling you now if he were a Cowboy they’d be favorites to win it all. If he overcomes the injury bug he will be a superstar for the next decade. Got to give the young star QB award to Mahomes but after him there isn’t one player in the league I’d rather have if you factored in age.

What you described was meh. Holding onto the ball too long, missing targets and the inability to get the team into the endzone in the first half multiple times. Wentz would have been better off sitting for a number of games instead of rushing back. This is his year to prove he's a superstar. Another injury that derails his season I can't put him up there with the others.

Fair enough!

Wentz needs to prove hes that guy. He was GREAT for part of that 1 season. But a million guys have had good runs. He hasnt provided consistency or health. He needs to answer those questions

i Say this too. Not that Stafford is a bad QB, hes not. but hes not. But hes not AMAZING. in 2011 he had what is arguably one of the top 10-15 seasons by a qb EVER. But did not sustain that. One season, is just that one season. Mahomes was amazing, needs to keep it going.

Even when you’re TOLD what’s wrong you still don’t get it.

Wentz was largely ineffective last year bc he sucked on third down. Why? Bc he didn’t/couldn’t scramble. He’s nowhere near the player he was before the knee injury. It’s hilarious watching you deny it, backpedaling, etc.

Also, Goff won in the playoffs and led his team to a SB. If Cooks could learn to catch the ball the outcome easily could have been different but you just ignore ALL that in your comparison.

Last, you mock cowboy fans for being “homers” when you are the biggest homer on this board.

GTFOH

Oh and don’t forget to whine bc I “tagged” you... bitch.

Goff looked terrible and the end of last season. Wentz has never had a stretch of looking terrible. Remind me when Goff was an MVP candidate?
Now I can understand if you question Wentz cause of the injury history but he is the better QB
To be fair he also doesn't usually have an "end of the season"

Wentz gets to play for a masterful offensive mind that beats Goff's coach every single time they face each other.

Very important to understand that.

Great logic!!

Now let’s apply it to Dak vs Wentz and in particular last year.

I’ll wait for you to catch up...

Whelp...

5 years later, not one playing for the team that drafted them.

Its interesting that they all busted and yet 1 team won a Super Bowl, 1 team lost a Super Bowl, and one team has been stuck in a ditch.

We need a potato salad vote so we can all change our vote to that.

I think coming out I had Goff around Matt Ryan, Wentz around Joe Flacco, and Payton Lynch as a 3rd rounder. Goff has the same career YPA as Ryan and Wentz has the same career YPA as Flacco. Neat.

It would be shocking if Goff was as good as Ryan, though. The Lions seem like a team poised for 3-13 and a top 3 pick next year.

You can use search to find his profile but it has to be exact or it doesn't come up.
