The leash for him could be shorter because he has a very capable backup

This wont be a team that will be good with a 2-6 start from Cutler, they still think they are a playoff roster

Peterman appears to be the early leader in this race. The Bills just signed QB Joe Webb and released S Colt Anderson. That leads me to believe that both Taylor and Yates are still in concussion protocol.
